Our Community Links Fundraiser!

On Friday 14 June, we held a fundraiser in school as part of our Community Links project to raise funds for our local food bank hub.

We had a raffle with lots of great prizes donated by school staff and by local businesses, as well as a cake sale with a range of sweet treats made in school by our pupils.

We had many visitors who came along to support us, including some of the volunteers from the food bank at which we volunteer. The local Town Cryer and food bank volunteer Brian Pease came along in full suit, which everybody really enjoyed.

We raised over £100, which we used to go and buy essential items to donate as stock for the food bank.
