Christmas Enterprise Scheme

This year as part of our Christmas Enterprise scheme, our pupils have been fundraising for our local food bank in Brampton.

The students have taken on a variety of roles during this process, such as designing and manufacturing Christmas decorations, processing and packing customer orders and running our annual Christmas sale stall.

This scheme ties in with our Community Links project in school, which aims to build positive relationships between our students and the local community. Our group 6 pupils have been to have a look around our local food bank and learn about how they work, and helping to combat any common misconceptions associated with the use of food banks.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff and pupils, we raised over £200. The money raised was then used to go to a local supermarket, where pupils’ were given budgets and a list of essential items which are desperately needed by the food bank. Our pupil volunteers then delivered these donations in person.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our pupil volunteers and to those who have supported our enterprise scheme through making donations.
